Epoxy Floor Care Sheet

This care sheet will help you maintain the beauty, shine, and longevity of your Epoxy Tech floor system.

Daily Care:

Prompt Spill Cleanup: Quickly address spills to prevent stains and damage. Prolonged exposure to chemicals can degrade the epoxy.
Sweep Away Debris: Regularly sweep or dust mop to remove dirt and debris that can cause scratches.

Regular Cleaning:

Gentle Cleaning Tools: Use soft-bristle brushes or mops to avoid scratching the epoxy surface.
Mild Detergent: If needed, use warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.
Mopping Technique: Use a soft mop or microfiber cloth with a mild detergent and water. Avoid excessive soap or harsh cleaning solutions.

Preventative Measures:

Protective Pads: Place protective pads under heavy furniture to prevent scratches and indentations.
Mats and Rugs: Use mats or rugs with rubber backing in high-traffic areas and entryways to provide grip, capture dirt and debris, and minimize wear and tear.
Moving Heavy Objects: When moving heavy objects with wheels, use plywood or other protective materials to distribute weight and prevent damage.
Avoid Sharp Objects: Be cautious with sharp objects to prevent damage to the epoxy surface. If accidents happen, call us promptly to schedule a repair.
