Epoxy flooring systems generally last longer than most flooring options. Because of its hardness, an epoxy coating on its own is scratch resistant. However, adding a top coating such as urethane ensures more protection against abrasions and scratches. Just like most things, following our care instructions will ensure a durable floor that you can love for years to come!

To ensure an Epoxy Tech floor lasts as long as possible, a little maintenance goes a long way! Keeping your floor dust and debris free by sweeping and mopping regularly will keep your floor looking its best! We recommend general cleaning be done with warm water and vinegar or ammonia. For heavy stains, we recommend using detergents only if necessary. If a detergent must be used, always be sure to thouroughly rinse your floor to remove any residue left behind. Soaps and detergent leave a film that can track more dirt in which can effect the overall appearance of your floor!

We promise quality craftmanship in every project to give you a beautiful and durable floor! When maintained properly, our epoxy floors can last a lifetime. Accidents and normal wear and tear do happen though, so if you start to notice your epoxy floor has scuffs or abrasions you may need a repair. Unlike other flooring, epoxy flooring doesn’t need to be ripped up to repair a small section. It can be repoured or retextured saving you even more money! We like to say, “Do it right for the last time, and never do it again.”

Generally, installations should not take more than 2 – 3 days, but every project is unique! Depending on the options and complexity of what you’re looking for it could take longer. Once installed, your new epoxy floor can be lightly walked on in as little as 24 hours. We recommend waiting 72 hours before heavy traffic or parking and in 2 weeks’ time your floor will be fully cured!
